Abrigo Centre’s volunteers are a vital and integral part of our programs and services. Our volunteers infuse the organization with energy and generously contribute their time and dedication to support our mission to improve the lives of residents in west Toronto.

Abrigo volunteers have the opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people and get real office work experience. At the moment, in-office volunteer opportunities are limited because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Typical volunteer activities / experiences include:

Assisting clients with applications forms

Providing support for programs, services and workshops

Organizing recognition and fundraising events and celebrations

If you would like to volunteer with Abrigo, there are three ways you can join the Abrigo Centre team as a volunteer:
