Volunteer Appreciation Event Celebrates Those Who Make a Difference

Abrigo’s volunteers and students feted at annual event!

Abrigo held its annual Volunteer Appreciation Event on Thursday, April 28 on our second floor and the meeting room was filled with adults and students who donate one of life’s most precious resources, time.

Last year, our 106 volunteers donated 16,726 hours of service to the agency. Abrigo is truly appreciative and lucky to have such a huge outpouring of assistance.

Our guests were provided with a lovely buffet of food, poems and other remarks from clients and volunteers. This event really was a great opportunity to say “thank you” to our volunteers, students and Board members who give Abrigo so much.

Our volunteer’s efforts make a real and significant difference to the women, men and youth who turn to us for help. We could not assist 6,000 individuals each year without the support of our dedicated volunteers.
