Abrigo AGM Back to Person Participation in 2022
After two years online, the Abrigo Centre Annual General Meeting (AGM) returned to in person attendance (also with a virtual link) on Thursday, September 22, 2022 on Abrigo’s second floor.
Welcome to our Board new members Leila Monteiro-Lins, who will serve a two-year term, and a returning Miguel Mendes who has re-joined the Board for a one-year term. Abrigo Board members give their valuable time to our agency to ensure that the organization has strong community representation. We thank all of our continuing Board members for their outstanding leadership, guidance and support.
After the conclusion of the official AGM business, Abrigo staff members Paula DeJesus, Erika Pascoal and Rosana de Rezende made a special presentation on the revamping of Abrigo’s Intake program because of increased call volumes created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thank you to everyone who attended AGM either in person or online. After two years of virtual meetings, it was wonderful to assemble again as a community.
