Abrigo Attends FPCBP’s What’s Your Story Event

The Abrigo Centre was honoured to attend “What’s Your Story”, a networking event presented by the Federation of Portuguese Canadian Business and Professionals (FPCBP) in Brampton on November 15, 2023.

Abrigo’s Executive Director Ed Graca spoke about his path to joining Abrigo some 33 years ago, but specifically focused on our five primary clinical service programs, the work our agency and counsellors do for the community, and the many challenges our clients face in these difficult times. Particularly, the women and children dealing with gender-based violence, and those facing food and housing insecurity.

Abrigo is a proud member of the FPCBP and fully supports the important work the organization does in the Portuguese community. Our sincerest thanks go out to FPCBP President Bela Cumberbatch for inviting Abrigo to speak at this wonderful event!
