Abrigo Celebrates the Grand Reopening and Donor Recognition Event
April 21stwas the day for the long-awaited grand reopening of Abrigo’s second floor made possible primarily because of the generous financial support of Mr. Manuel DaCosta and the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF).
An OTF grant of $110,000 allowed Abrigo to completely overhaul the existing space and create a fully functioning kitchen. Mr. DaCosta’s extraordinary philanthropic leadership has led to the creation of a new Computer Room, Multipurpose Room, Quite Room and staff office. The transformation, although slowed because of the pandemic over the last two years, is truly incredible.
Thank you to all our other donors for their generosity. Charitable community support also helped with the purchase of new furniture and new flooring.
