March 3rd Event Raises a Record Amount for Client Programs

The Abrigo Centre 2018 Imagine the Possibilities Gala saw 345 guests raise a record $62,000 for program and service improvements to the agency.

In a night filled with Brazilian-themed food, music and culture, “One Night in Rio” proved to be an overwhelming success. Along with record breaking attendance and dollars raised, the event feature an incredible array of Brazilian entertainment including a rousing kick-off from Batucada Carioca, a dynamic and heart-stopping performance from the Axe Capoeira Toronto and the stylish sounds of Banda ZucaTuga featuring Luanda Jones.
