Abrigo Returns to the 2022 ACAPO Portugal Day Parade

After a two-year absence because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was a welcome relief to enjoy the pomp and circumstance again this year of the 2022 ACAPO Portugal Day Parade.

With sunny skies and warm temperatures shining down on all the participants, it was great to see a full slate of agencies, groups and organizations taking part in what has become a June tradition on Dundas Street.

As is the custom, it was a tremendous event, well organized, and it was so nice to see a large contingent of the Portuguese community out and enjoying the numerous floats, music, folklore dancing and friendly collegial atmosphere.

Abrigo extends its thanks to all 23 staff members, students, volunteers, family members and clients who helped made this year’s event a special one for our agency!
