You’re Invited to Abrigo’s Annual General Meeting

Abrigo invites you to our Annual General Meeting this coming Thursday, September 27, 2018 starting at 6:00 p.m. here at the Abrigo Centre. The meeting will be in our fully accessible second floor hall. This event is open to the public and all are welcome.

In advance of the AGM, Abrigo will be hosting a Reception starting at 5:30 p.m. Post AGM, there will be a Special Presentation on Abrigo’s Music for Life program that encourages members of Abrigo’s Life and Hope seniors group to learn a new instrument and sing along to their favourite folk songs from various areas of Portugal and the Azores.

Among the speakers will be Ed Graca, Executive Director of the Abrigo Centre, Hernani Raposo, revered local musician, Marilia dos Santos, Abrigo Counsellor and coordinator of the Life and Hope group and Nuno Miller, Camoes Radio host, who is leading the Music for Life group.
