Royal St. George’s College Students Make Annual Visit to Abrigo
Day of Service assists clients in the Life and Hope group
Giving back to the community is an important aspect of being a student at Royal St. George’s College. During their third annual day of service visit to Abrigo eight young men shoveled, cleaned and generally tidied up Abrigo while also learning a bit about our history and the work we do to support women facing domestic abuse and the 6,500 clients we see annually.
The boys also shared a meal with the seniors in attendance then shared stories about their cultural background and grandparents.
It proved to be both very productive and a lot of fun along the way. Thank you to all the young men of RSGC for spending the day with us. Hopefully we’ll see you next year.
