A Look at How Abrigo Started its Efforts to Combat COVID-19

This month’s Discover Magazine submission looks at the history of this agency’s vaccination efforts

As a social service provider in Toronto, Abrigo’s long history has primarily focused on helping women and children facing gender-based violence. That’s the core of the work we do. Our work has also grown to assist seniors, students and newcomers.

Abrigo has never turned away a client and we have never turned away from the opportunity to help anyone in need, for the Portuguese-language community, those residing in Toronto’s west end or beyond.
