National Volunteer Week is April 15 – 21

Abrigo will Hold its Volunteer Appreciation Event on Thursday, April 19

The life force for most of social service agencies are its volunteers. Without them, many agencies and organizations could not provide some essential services or deliver the exceptional care that they do.

Abrigo is no different and each April gives this agency the opportunity to recognize the significant contributions our volunteers provide and say “thank you” for being an invaluable resource.

Abrigo is holding this year’s Volunteer Appreciation Event on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor hall. “Annually this event allows us to recognize the numerous achievements of our volunteers and say thank you in a meaningful way,” said Valeria Sales, Abrigo’s Coordinator of Volunteer Services. “Abrigo typically has around 100 active volunteers each fiscal year and they contribute more than 15,000 hours to the life and work of the organization.”
