Portuguese Canadian Walk of Fame donates $20,000 to Abrigo

$20,000 donation will support seniors programing at Abrigo

The Portuguese Canadian Walk of Fame (PCWF) has generously donated $20,000 to the Abrigo Centre to assist the seniors program at our agency. This outstanding organization honours those of a Portuguese background who have made an impact and significant contribution to the advancement of Portuguese Canadian Culture in Canada.

Earlier this year, the PCWF named two beneficiaries of the proceeds raised from a fundraising dinner they held this spring. On a recent sunny Tuesday in Toronto, Executive Director Ed Graca attended a press conference to receive the donated funds.

Abrigo is sincerely honoured to have received this very generous gift from the PCWF.
